Ruhe Krieger had been in hiding from the authorities this bright and sunny day. How did she get herself into this situation some may ask? The fourteen year old girl had been accused of stealing a rumored weapon even though she had paid for the it rightfully. Afterwards, a squad of marine soldiers had been ordered not only to confiscate her weapon, but to toss her in jail as well. After defeating these marines quickly and swiftly with her skills, Ruhe had been hiding in a old, abandoned Dojo to the east of the island. The real question was what would she do now in this predicament? Within the abandoned Dojo had rested the young girl as she had been within a meditative stance. The girl had then opened her eyes as cerulean orbs would stare across the room. She had made her life changing decision that will change not only herself, but the world. She would be a pirate. She would have no other choice seeing she would surely be imprisoned for years having attacked officers of the marine government.
The girl had been wearing a blue and red gi on her agile but muscled frame as she stood to her feet. Twin katana rested at her right side as a large Naginata rested against her back. She had been using a simple leather strap to hold it in place as she must make plans. She must first procure herself a ship and followers to truly call herself a pirate. The law would most likely ignore her for now, or so she hoped anyways. She had opened the doors to the old Dojo as she would simply walk straight through the gate. She had no close ties to the island except for her mother, and she was sure that her parents would understand.
"This marks the dawn of a new journey. I Ruhe Krieger from this day on is now a pirate. No...I am a pirate captain." She had corrected herself calmly as if strengthening her resolve as she had walked out into the city. The legendary weapon along her back would shine brightly as it had been made of solid steel; but light and powerful. The sharp edge of the blade had been a dark black as the rest of it had been a shining grey. The handle she held was dark red and adorned with the carvings of traditional Japanese dragons. The name of this Naginata was Wabiskue.
Sticking to the shadows of the alleys and walls, Ruhe would begin to make her way to the wilderness of the island where there is less risk of getting found by the authorities. She would have to evaluate how much money she has left in her coin purse and what she will be capable of doing with it. She would need to find herself a vessel as a means of escape, but of course she could always just steal one. She was already wanted by the law, so she might as well make the most of her situation. A cool breeze had blown through Ruhe's grey hair as it fluttered in the wind.
Ruhe did not fear the law nor the consequences of becoming a pirate. It was simply her destiny that would take her along the winding road of piracy. The worst case scenario was that she would be arrested and possibly executed for becoming a menace to society, but the rewards weighed out the consequence. The novice criminal had picked up the pace as she had lowered her face. She may be seen now as a disgrace, but if that is the case...she will become the greatest menace the world has ever seen. Walking swiftly past the various people she came across, she would ponder her options. She would go through the wilderness to the northern docks to see if she could purchase herself a ship after thinking all the details through.
