“…Finally turned up, huh?” Expecting the assaulting automaton to be upon her almost immediately, it was with no small amount of relief that Jessica Delahaye found that the devastating drone had been delayed by something or other. Left woozy by her smashing little adventure through a few walls, even in this state the warrior woman was quick to guess why she had been afforded a moment or two to recover. The teen with her green tentacles likely having finally stepped into the fray, with what felt like a rib or two cracked, the brawler clawed for every breath of air that she could get after her sudden trip through the air. Thoroughly winded and a sharpness accompanying her every breath, the beauty with black hair was looking a little worse for wear as she clawed at the wall behind her to help her to her feet, yet wasn’t about to let herself be stopped by a few fractures.
Damn, I feel like I just got ran over by a bull… Or twenty! Dragging her way back up to a relatively vertical standing, the dark dish rested her elbow against the wood made building that she had crashed into as she tried to catch her breath, intent on re-entering this ruckus as soon as she was able. Free hand wrapped underneath her bust, Jessica winced as she probed the damage that had been done to her body, and felt she was thankful for the toughness of her tightly honed physique. Hurled with such heavy haste, a figure which was more fragile would likely been demolished by such a destructive act, yet only a handful of seconds later our hearty heroine was back on her feet. Sure she had ended up with some nasty bruises and perhaps a few breaks, but that was nothing she couldn’t shrug off with a little time.
Stumbling forward as she tried to force her body to work a little better, the wounded warrior could feel the toll of every step upon her body as she moved. The simple feeling of her stomping heels seeming to shake her body enough to make herself wince at the chest, many would have taken this as a sign to call an early end to this fight, but that wasn’t the style of Miss Delahaye at all.
Looks like I might need a healing potion… Chuckling to herself as she gripped her injured ribs more tightly to try and stave off the pain, rather than go around the house she had just crashed through, the bruised babe instead stepped into it through the hole she had created. Recalling a silly comic or something from her youth about magical elixirs and their healing properties in an effort to stave off the pain she felt, the feisty femme forced her way into the home of another to find something far more commonplace.
The contents of this residence naturally rather less organized now that a body had been sent sprawling through it, Jessica was sure that any good home in Enkai would not be without a little something to take the edge off her injury, and her instinct proved right.
“Hit the jackpot…” A half smashed liquor cabinet still semi-standing on the wall through which this seeking strumpet had made her entry, scattered across the ground was a wet collection of broken glass, and a few bottles that had survived the onslaught that her opponent had unleashed. Doubling over and filling her hands with the two with the highest potency that she could see, this almost alcoholic amazon wasted little time in getting to work on her first. Ripping the top off with her teeth, the drinking dish let herself ‘refuel’ on an entire bottle of white rum, swallowing the smoky sweetness down until none remained.
“AHHHHHHH! Nothing like a little tincture to take away the pain!” Imbibing the intoxicant in record time, with a gasp of satisfaction this surly siren smashed the empty bottle on the floor and moved on as she put a brave face on her pain. Alcohol not doing a terrible disservice when dealing with the discomfort known as injury, the seconds after a rather speedy swallow were unlikely to yield any effective pain relief, but still Miss Delahaye felt a hell of a lot better to have some booze in her system. A big drinking brawler, she had spent every moment since she had woken without a drop of alcoholic goodness being added to her system, but now that had changed. Now she was back to her best, and her best demanded something of a dramatic re-entry to the battle.
Second beverage still in her hand as she thrust her foot forward, whether it was convenience, coolness or simply having her inhibitions stripped away by the grog that gushed through her, she decided to damn near kick the seaside shack over as she left it. Booting the wall through which an entry had first been made clean off the other sides of this timber building before giving a rather bellicose belch, the belligerent beauty felt much more herself as she returned to the fight and took a swig from her second decanter of drink.
“Well, looks like the fights on now, huh?” Swaggering away from the shattered structure and taking another long slice of liquid refreshment as she talked, with a lopsided grin our lady lead returned to the fight with rather a statement of intent as she hurled what was left of her drink straight at the head of iron giant that had blasted her away. Fiona having entered the battle and looking like she had done about as well as the hard drinking dish, Jessica Delahaye shook her body out to get herself loose enough for a third round with this monster.
"Hope you're ready to get your ass kicked, Iron...shit!" With both the beauties now on the battlefield and knowing what they were up against, could they manage to overwhelm an enemy as powerful as this? Well, let’s just say that the wink that the darker haired one of the duo sent to her companion certainly seemed to imply that she still had more than a little confidence left…
