“Mm, mm, that should do it! It looks so much better on you now!” The sun ablaze in the crystal sky, the ocean blue a-sparkle, the cruise ship Zeigler careened steadily through the waves of the East Blue on its grand journey. Having begun its voyage from the bustling island of Mirrorball, the great galleon made its way to the Pole Star Islands. Aboard it, the young man known as Sheridan Reese adored the sights and sounds – departure from his homeland on a grand quest had at first been quite the shock, but already had he steadied his nerves and took to force of habit.
A pair of light blue skinny jeans and summer yellow three-quarter sleeve shirt forming his attire, the effeminate entrepreneur had barely been aboard for more than a couple of days, and yet had already made good his business. Surrounded by men, women and children of various classes and social standings, the travelling tailor had repaired at least three dresses and made half-a-dozen adjustments to suit jackets and so forth.
I wonder if I should tell him that platinum grey doesn’t suit him… Light chocolate eyes watched as their latest ‘patient’ walked on; a middle-class gentleman – most likely a businessman – of plump stature. Sure enough, a black suit and dark tie would have done his build justice, while his current state of dress made him look far too much like a disco ball. Even so, the young ‘Sherry’ decided it better to hold his tongue. After all, it was rude to say something that another might find insulting. That being said, the gentleman’s manners were not so great, but then the adjustments of his sleeves’ cuffs had come at short enough notice to catch him off-guard.
“I’ve never seen a ship this big before,” the brunet awed, turning his head to get a better idea of the scale of the vessel in question. Large mercantile vessels were a common sight at the docks of Mirrorball Island, but the Zeigler was far superior. Equivalent in size to the heaviest of battleships used by the World Navy – perhaps a little bigger – the craft currently carried approximately fifteen hundred passengers, on top of a few hundred crew members. It was a miracle it could even float, but it was branded as one of the greatest marvels of shipbuilding the world had ever known for a reason…{*OOC*}
