As the winds blew by The Slippery Seal tavern, the simple breeze seemed to sway the building. The sun dried outer boards seemed cracked, ragged and look like the smallest spark would set the dried wood ablaze.
Inside the attitude was like the wooden building. Dry. The barkeep slowly wandered around re-filling the tankards of the few patrons. The keep filled the tankard of a rather out of place looking man. Unlike the usual rabble in the tavern.
This man was dressed in a finer piece of clothing, a three piece suit that seems to be worn and torn from his time at sea. The man's hair is black, peppered with grey as is his beard and mustache.
"My thanks." Theodore said to the barkeep, he eagerly lift the tankard to his mouth and drank from it. The head of the ale clung to his mustache, until it was licked of by the Theodore's tongue.
"I think it's time I order a meal. Do you have pork?" What was life without pork Theodore thought. All the times he spend in the mansion as a child growing up, there was always pork to be had!
"We got pork out the back. Can't say it'll be any good though." The barkeep spoke asthough he was uninterested in the conversation, or was it with the customer?
A few long minutes later the barkeep returned with some cold pork with a side of a sad looking salad. With just a nod he wander back to his business.
"Now just need to wait." Theodore slowly ate his pork, it was nothing compared to that at the mansion, but pork was pork.
Theodore continued to wait, what he was waiting for he didn't know. Maybe for another crew mate to show up, or an interesting character to show up.
