So far, everything had been going according to plan. The two had successfully made it into town without anyone recognizing who she or he was. At least she didn't think so. Behind sunglasses, her red orbs shuffled from place to place. Yumeko could see people staring... staring at Legix? Glancing back her eyes looked over him. How she didn't notice it before was strange but now she could see it, the large birth mark on his chest.
People kept mentioning 'Red Rumbler', like he was some kind of devil. It caused her to chuckle a bit, if they wanted a devil they just had to look at her...
Shaking her head of horrid memories that threaten to push through the wall, she looked forward. "Ignore them." Was all the red eyed wolf spoke to the man as they continued down the street. It would be only a matter of minutes before they could be set sailing. It was bitter sweet for Yumeko. She had been separated from Tayzo from the beginning and now she was going to leave without him. Why did this almost... hurt? It caused her to frown. Wasn't she suppose to stop with the attachments?
That's when it happened. Some screaming woman shouting Legix's name, and before she knew it, there was a Marine in front of them, demanding that Yumeko keep her mouth shut and scolded Legix. Wait, what? Was this Legix's... mother? What was it with her getting stuck with people whose parents where in the damn Marines? Her eyes caught two cloaked people staying close. One had a mask that seemed to try to ease the Marine mother. Yet the other one...
Before Yumeko could get a better chance to look at the second cloak person, she was dragged down the alley way. It was only a second before Legix sat down and without thinking Yumeko let go of the rope and knelled next to him. His wounds were still horrible, they should have waited another day. However her ears picked up when the woman started talking to her.
Great, she knew she wasn't a Marine. Exhaling the wolf stood up, taking the hat and glasses off as she pulled the shirt off showing her usual sleeveless attire. Glancing at the woman, she leaned against the brick wall, arms crossed. A danger? Her? No. Yumeko was no danger to anyone here but one man. And that was only until she found him.
"You think I'm a danger?" Yumeko spoke, her eyes slightly narrowing. Marine or not, Legix's mother or not. Dragging her out of a way of getting her off this damn island was getting her annoyed. So far the Marines had a foul taste in her mouth. "First of all, I'm no Marine and neither a Pirate or a Bounty Hunter. I just want to find the damn man who killed my mother and be over with it. That's the only danger I possess. He's not here so all I want is to get off this island and to the next but it seems like every Marine is out to stop me from that." She stood up straighter.
After all this time Yumeko didn't fear much. only one person scared her and it certainty wasn't this woman in front of her."Second of all, your... son, has done nothing but help us out since we stepped foot on this island. I hate having living debts but he's one I owe. So if you think I'm a danger to him you're wrong. Lastly I don't know who you think I am but to attack innocent bystanders is something I don't stand for. So why don't you find someone else who's more dangerous than I." She half scolded, almost glaring at the woman.
Then Yumeko stood there, waiting. Her eyes glancing at Legix to see how he was doing. It seemed he needed more medical help if she asked herself. Yet her red orbs looked back to the woman, her determination and stubbornness shining through.
