The sun was setting over the cold North Blue Waters and bathing the Gehena in a fiery red light. All of the crew had gathered on deck, waiting for the promised battle. A couple of them had moved the long dinner tables and chairs to the side to make room for a proper sparring site. Just having finished their second dinner, they now waited on the challenger's return. The poor woman had spent most of the day sitting near Vivo Segno like a puppy clinging to its parent for protection. A beaten little puppy at that, her hair messy, her face still tainted with blood from the other night and a red spot from where she got punched earlier. Nobody had dared speaking to her again of course, fearing the swordsman's wrath. But even the brutal mute wasn't enough to stop the condescending looks and occasional suggestive hand movements directed to her. After dinner, the blonde had claimed out loud that she would go and "prepare the horros waiting for those opposing her" and took to the crew quarters. Obviously this was met by general laughter and mocking remarks about the crew looking forward to her taking off her shirt for them again.
The entity that now emerged however, left a more lasting impression. Covered entirely in a pitch black hooded cloak, the being seemed to hover up the stairs. Only the smoke emitted from somewhere inside the hood and the omnious orange glow of the cigarette hinted at the actual person inside. No sound accompanied her rise other than the metallic thuds of her left feet on the stairs every other step. None of them men said anything either, rather impressed by the sudden change of attitude. It was like Lady Death herself was coming up from the depths of her hellish realm to drag them back down into it.
Kulira herself had never felt so sure of herself than in this very moment. Lady Death was coming indeed. But she would take her time. And none of her victims would make it back down. Below the cloak she had found in the Gehena's storage room, she was indeed wearing her killer outfit again. Shirtless, bootless, bandages covering stomach, chest, feet and forearms. Red lines of paint going up from her elbows up to her shoulders, a red cross painted on her stomach like a target. But that was just for her own comfort, none of the poor souls would get to see it this evening if everything went according to plan.
Having arrived on deck, the cloaked figure rose her right hand, covered completely by the huge black sleeves, only a single pale finger visible. Said finger was pointing at the guy who had assaulted her earlier.
"You." Cheteria's voice was cold and determined.
The appointed man awkwardly laughed.
"Good show, tramp!" he smirked as he took a step forward. "Not gonna do much though, aye? That's just a piece of cloth!"
The rest of the fools gathered in a circle around the two combatants. None of them were laughing anymore. Impressionable idiots, as Amelia had demonstrated quite nicely over and over again.
Chete's adversary pulled a dagger out from his belt - and threw it off to the side for somebody to catch.
"Haha, I don't need this thing for you!"
"It would not have saved you anyways." agreed the cyborg, for entirely different reasons. "Nothing will." A cloud of smoke came out of her hood every time she talked.
"HAH!" Her opponent cracked his knuckles "About time to shut you up, ain't it!?"
With these words, he charged forward his left ready to crash into the "tramp's" face - when he suddenly dropped to the ground, still two meters away from his target. Down there, without making a sound, he aimlessly flailed his arms around, his entire body twitching uncontrollably. Two metal darts where sticking in his forehead, connected to two thing wires that lead back into Lila's hand.
"Keze A Bukott: Hel Sikoly." The omnious figure hadn't moved an inch, still pointing at where her victim had stood earlier. The taser was working alright! Not what she had meant by shooting lightning from her fingers, but this would do just fine. After all, a lightning would have actually killed the guy and where would the fun in that had been?
"This is the power our Captain Amelia has given me over scum like you!" yelled her shrill voice over the gasps of her crewmates. For a whole ten seconds she stood there, internally rejoicing over the buffoon at her feet, whose head was getting more red by the second as the electricity was flowing through his body.
Eventually, the automatic mechanism cut of the wires that had been shot out from her hand and let them fall on the floor. The pirate finally managed to move again and pulled the metal darts out of his head, still shivering all over. But as he tried to stand up, Chete was suddenly right in front of him and kicked her left foot into his chest with everything she got. Steel hit bones, which gave in easily.
"Graaaah!" Shouting with both pain and anger over the course of events.
"Do you believe me now?"
The poor sod didn't dignify her with a response, instead he continued yelling and tried to grab the leg holding him down - only to flinch from the cold metal he was touching instead of a soft calve.
The murderous android's right wrist made a clicking noise as she switched weapons. Now, the acid was selected. Her bloodless hand came out from under the large sleeve, the palm hovering over her adversary's face.
"Beg." Kulira demanded.
That was enough. Two other blockheads with sabers in their hands rushed in from her right, ready to cut the outcast down where she was standing. A pointless undertaking. Immediately, Chete moved her arm to the right and blocked the attackers' strikes with it. Sparks flew around as steel clashed with steel. In the same movement, Miss Akuvutika turned her palm towards them.
"Keze A Bukott: Pluto Kiáltás" A spurt of green liquid flew at the chest of one of the birdbrains, instantly burning through his shirt and attacking the skin. Screaming and holding his chest, the bloke stumbled backwards. The other one could only so much as shriek in surprise before a fist crashed into his nose and hurled him backwards into the crowd.
"You are given a choice." This was directed at the acid victim "Jump over board and become fish food now - or live another agonizing seven minutes before the tears melt your lungs."
Panicking, the guy looked at his mates for help, who in turn backed away.
"Dude..." whispered one of them "why would you do that...." In a state of shock, the hasty mook stopped his screaming and just stared at his killer, who turned her attention back to her first victim.
Another click in her wrist and her next weapon was selected.
"Beg." she repeated
"S...screw you!" Now trying to punch the leg with his bare hands, he could do nothing but make his knuckles bleed as he the solid shin.
"Keze A Bukott: Hades Karom." The hand detached itself from its owners wrist and was fired at the earlier bully's face, crashing into it with the full force that was meant to propel it 10 meters away. Appropriately devastating was the impact. If the wood of the Gehena hadn't been so sturdy, it certainly would have pushed his head straight through the floor. Yet, all that it resulted it was a devastating crushing sound and a loud creaking of the wood. Like a white spider on a string leading back into her robe, Kulira's hand sat on the dying man's face and pressed his mouth and nose shut.
"Shrihihi" There it was a again. That crazed laugh of hers. "Shrihihi! If I am but a speck of dust compared to Captain Amelia..." While the strength slowly left her prey, the killer woman's left hand appeared from under her clothes and removed the hood from her head. There was paint on it too now, two red spirals going down from below her eyes halfway down her cheeks. A wide grin screwed up her face. The face of a truly insane person having the most fun she ever had had in her life. "what does that make all of you?"
Throwing her head back, Chete laughed. A loud, shrill, long laugh.
"Shriiiiiiiiihihihihihihihi!"
Shocked and paralyzed by the maniac in their midst, nobody noticed the sod with the steaming chest jumping over the railing. Their future didn't look bright. A fairy goddess, a swordsman that could freeze his own cuts and now this. No, not bright at all. And neither did the future of whoever the Dusk Pirates would come across. The Frost Kingdom would have to watch out. Just like the rest of the world.
