Continuation from Part 1, but I'm summing it all up here again for convenience.
Finally, Kulira was free again. And her wounds were healed as well. Now she was standing there in the middle of the office, in front of the two others. What an unfortunate day this had been until now! Originally she had just planned on coming here for another kill. But Mik Rouz and his men had taken her target away from her, had beaten the sorry shopkeeper to death just for simple information. Right then, Lila had made her first mistake: Provoking the "Laughing Hammer". Almost smashed to mush, he had her! If not for the timely arrival of the sheriff and his deputy, that would have been the end of the soulless cyborg! These cops were apparently on their way to round up all the outsiders on the island before the incoming snowstorm would hit. Her second mistake almost resulted in death again: Trying to make up for losing her target by murdering Deputy Lumo instead. A bad decision, since the lawman posessed an ability he called 'Secateurs'. This two-legged kick was capable of creating a shockwave so powerful it had left a giant dent in the cement wall behind Cheteria when it hit her. Thankfully, the android had barely survived this and had just been locked up
in the police station - together with two other outsiders the cops brought in: Monica S. Hamlett and Amelia LeSorange Delacreux. Both of them were Devil Fruit users, something unknown to injured blonde at the time she decided to commit her third nearly deadly mistake: Instead of taking the fairy's offer to join her pirate crew, Miss Akuvutika had decided to try and terminate anyone that could reveal her location to Mik once the two others let her out of her cage. However, due to her injuries she was easily overpowered by Monica and Miss Delacreux had threatened to turn Chete into a frog if she wouldn't play along. A situation that left little choice. And so, she had given in.
Now free, Kulira had to adjust her act accordingly. She didn't dare to look either of her two apparent new crewmates in the eye. Showing no signs of aggression was the best way to stay alive right now. At the first sign of Mik she would try to get on the impressive kid's good side. Working under him was still better than having to listen to these two for the rest of her life.
"We should hurry..." she suggested with a quiet mumble. The bandages on her head weren't needed anymore after the fairy had used her healing power on her, so she took them off. Her hair was still dirty from the blood of the wound and the artificial skin on her right arm didn't recover. But other than that she felt completely fine. "Allow me to change into my battle dress so I can prove my use to you."
With these words, the pale lady walked over to her guitarcase. It was still leaning agaisnt the inside of the wooden counter that seperated the rest of the station from the entrance area. To here relieve, everything in there was still intact. Alas, the bionic woman removed her shirt, revealing the torso beneath it, her chest and stomach area covered by bandages as always. Wrapping up her hands and forearms up to her elbows in more bandages, she properly introduced herself to her oppressors:
"My name is Kulira Cheteria Akuvutika. People call me Chete."
Both hands' index and middle finger were dipped into the box of red bodypaint. Crossing her arms, she simultaneously painted two straight lines, one on each arm, down from her shoulders to her elbows.
"I am what people call a cyborg. My right arm and left leg are made of pure steel. The skin is just to cover it up."
The quiet, sorry tone in her voice had unintentionally made way for her usual, neutral one. At this point the woman was just stating facts. To top her outfit off, she painted a red cross on the wraps on her stomach. Only the mouse gray fur boots and the black jeans stayed on.
"I usually change into this when I get to kill somebody. Or when I have to fight. Hopefully this was unnecessary but you never know." she explained as she turned around and shouldered her guitar case. A cigarette was now in her mouth and a lighter in her left hand. Lighting the smoke, she took a deep drag out of it before turning towards the door.
"I will spare you the effort."
"Zeze!" Kulira took a few steps to run up to the wooden door, then jumped up and kicked it with her steel foot. The force was strong enough to break the lock and make the door spring open. Cheteria flew past it, gracefully landing two or three meters away from it on her two feet in the snow. Immediately she noticed that changing had been a mistake. The wind was howling through the street, pulling at her hair and giving her chills almost instantly.
Taking another pull from the smoke, her ice-blue eyes looked up and down the street. No Mik at least. But someone else that made her eyes widen in surprise:
A black haired swordsman in black formal clothing. This was not the surprise, as he could have easily belonged to the police force. It was the fact that his blade was sticking inside the bloody corpse of cop on the ground.
"Watch out!" Chete warned her fellow women "Theres someone out here! And its not Mik or a cop!"
Please lets all get out of the precinct now and to a new location everyone can be familiar with xD
