at some point we need to timeskip the night, I'll leave that up to you to do or push off longer
The man that stood before him was stiffened still as he looked into the room. Alec not wishing to allow the cold air to continue in reached around him and moved to close that final door. Surely this man too was cold and would not want to stay with the winds blowing into him. Alec was not sure what the man was concerned about, grabbed at the still open door pushing it all the way shut. Then remembering why the man had come here he instead of locking it in place simply placed his back against it and leaned. Yawning, Alec grabbed for the mask upon his face, pulling it off his face he let the strap hold it instead against the top of his head so it was still on him just not obscuring so much of his face this time. "So have you found what you were looking for?" Alec asked the man who seemed to peering across the hall.
Perhaps he was startled at all the mess or something? It did look slightly different from what the hall had looked before the fight, but that was nothing that concerned Alec at the least. His question was answered with silence, "Hello ... Sir?" There was no response, instead the man simply turned around and began to stare intently at Alec. Unsure what to do Alec simply stared back at he man, a wide smile grew across Alec's face. Perhaps the man was enthralled by Alec's handsomeness? Perhaps, Alec had always considered himself a little bit of a pretty boy. He was flattered to say the least. Trying to figure out where the man was looking Alec followed his gaze. Perhaps there was some hint in where he was looking. The man's eyes angled down slightly as they eyed Alec. By that angle Alec guessed somewhere around his waist or groin area? Well I'm certainly well endowed there, the compliment is taken but still isn't this a bit-
"You know I think I'm just going to go." the man before Alec said nervously. Alec frowned and tilted his head, "Really? You've barely looked around, you sure its not here?" Alec asked somewhat concerned. What exactly the man was thinking was completely beyond Alec at this point. "You know well ... I didn't see it and all ... I probably just misplaced it." He hurriedly made statement after statement and the man stumbled toward him. Alec was confused, if it was so important that he'd come back here in the middle of this storm how could he just put this off. "Come on, I'll even help you." Alec made a rare gesture of kindness offering his own aid to this man. But it didn't seem to convince him at all and the man continued to insist on his leaving. After a few more moments of chatter back and forth Alec finally relented.
If the man wanted to leave so badly, who was Alec to stop him. Besides leaning against the door was getting tiring, he'd prefer to just lock it in place and be done with this problem for the night. "Alright go then. Good luck in the storm." Alec stepped aside from the door as it swung open from the battering winds. The man grabbing at his soaked coat pulled it tight around him and jumped into the storm. As he headed past Alec, for a moment Alec noticed his face. It seemed full of fear, terror, it was something he sort of sensed, it was like an animal sense or something. He wasn't sure but Alec felt he could read it on the man's face. As to why Alec had not a clue, and as soon as the man left he thought of it no more. Pressing back into the door he pulled it fully shut and bolted it to the ground so it wouldn't blow in and allow the weather in. He liked to be dry and warm, it was a good feeling.
"Ok then, lets find a place to lay the head down." He gave a wide yawn and walked back into the hall. It was still in the state of disarray he had left it in. The body of the priest lay upon the ground, he was still unconscious and Alec remembering he needed to tie the man up began to search the room for rope once more. It took a few moments as he strolled around the room but finally he found some, a nice think bunch long enough to at least bind the man's wrists behind his back without him being able to break it. Applying it to the priest at once Alec left the man in the corner, the way he was bound the man had little chance of escape. So Alec was unconcerned, Now then once again, a place to rest huh ...
