"Are you sure about this Ringo?" Came the questioning voice from the white haired guy who was standing at the helm of their small ship. He turned around stopping for a moment to stare at the girl standing next to Ringo. Her red-headed friend and confidant Izabella held the same wildly happy smile that Ringo did. But finally as the guy's eyes met with Ringo's the questioning look on his face disappeared. Of course she was serious, it only took one look in her eye to tell him that. With her hands at her hips, the black jacket on her shoulders floating gently in the wind, and her cap turned slightly on her head she made quite the impression.
While those three were the only ones above the deck the others below were laughing it up and generally having a good time. They rapscallions as they were numbered about seven, all looked to be around Ringo’s age if not a little older. Most were male playing cards or something to pass the time as their ship moved onwards. The ship, was nothing special, a small-sized ship it had enough space for maybe twenty passengers, a boring dull brown wooden color it lacked any distinctive features with its tan sails and lack of a flag at top.
"Hahaha, Am I sure? Have you ever seen me not sure Falke?" Ringo laughed stepping up to the helm landing two heavy slaps onto Falke's shoulder before walking past him to the bow and looking out to the ocean. "Owwww!! You really are too strong Ringo ..." Falke rubbed his shoulder, part of what he said was true as he rubbed the already bruising shoulder. But the other part was just Falke being extra sensitive, he never really did fit in with this pair. As Iza followed suit and walked past Falke towards the bow she stopped for a moment turning and smiling at him. "Man up Falke, common we're almost here, look alive." Skipping forward she came up beside Ringo who was looking out at the island before them.
Somewhat ignored and feeling a little dejected from Iza’s comments Falke grumbled to himself about possible tricks he could play on Ringo none of which he actually thought to do. Unconcerned or unknowing of her ally's secret 'plans of revenge' Ringo raised herself onto the railing laughing as she did enjoying the ocean breeze. Before her a decently large island had risen out of the horizon and was now quickly closing in on the group, or they were closing in on it. In a bay she could already see the town they would be disembarking on, it's buildings built on the side of rolling hill it seemed to lift away from the ground slowly but surely. It was a beautiful view that really only made Ringo more excited for their final disembarkation. Looking to the other sides she saw the actual reason they were there, on the other side of the bay a large field of what at this distance looked to be bamboo was rolling along the hills.
In actuality it was a sugarcane plantation, Cinna Island famous for its sugarcane and the sweet delicacies that were made of it was the final destination of this island. And more importantly it was those sweets that the two girls who were leaning on the railing were now almost drooling for. That being said it was not the only reason that these three were here. It had been a little while ago but in deciding where to go next, Falke had convinced Ringo that it was not yet time for them to attack B-2 as Ringo had wanted to do. Instead averting disaster he had led Ringo to the idea of making her name first by attacking the small base on Cinna Island. It would be a small start, but she had begrudgingly accepted the change of plans after Falke had told her about the lovely sweets she would be able to get there. Always loving a fight, but feeling a need for sweets that she had never had as a child Ringo had allowed her mind to be changed by the crafty newest member of their group.
Though it was not yet in view, on the other side of the hill that the town lay on was the Marine Base. Set facing the sea outside of the bay, this small base would be the place in which Ringo's Bancho Pirates would start their journey. Ringo was sure of it, and of herself. Smiling as she stood there with Iza at her side she cracked her knuckles and her neck. First sweets, then marines, the two phrases rang through her head as she mused on what was to come. As the ship rolled into the harbor and towards the dock the pair finally left their place at the bow and headed back to the helm stopping there to stand around with Falke for a moment. Falke was there, trying unfortunately to rest his shoulder. As Iza stopped there tochat with Falke Ringo walked straight past approaching the door to the cabin. Knocking on it swiftly she yelled down to the rest of the crewmates. "Oi we are here! Iza and I are going to check out the town. The rest of you stay with Falke, we’ll come for you when its time." A concert of yells of ‘roger’ or ‘gotcha Ringo’ or something to that extent echoed back from the cabin. The rest of her friends were more than happy to just let Ringo do her thing. With a smile she came back over to Iza grabbing her hand the pair of them charged off down the ramp and into town. The Bancho Pirates had arrived.
