It was the sweet smell in the air and the rays of the sun that awoke Aidan from his slumber. He had been stuck in one of the smallest crappiest boats for two weeks, with nothing but the sound of the sea to keep him company. "Puddle Jumper" was it's name, a piece of crap for sure but reliable none the less. The dinky boat got him where he needed and that's all that mattered in the end, but he wished it was a bit more comfortable. It wasn't exactly the newest thing on the market and so it was bound to have a few kinks, the floors creaked, when it rained it leaked below deck, and the only thing he had to sleep on was an old cot which was itchy. He was ecstatic finally getting to stretch his legs and walk around after these hellish two weeks. When he departed from this island it wouldn't be on this piece of crap.
When he docked he hopped of the boat and sprinted on to the island. Cinna, he'd visited once before with his master. It was very similar to that day he visited so long ago, the sweet smell that was wafting through the air gave Cinna a relaxing atmosphere. There was a real calm feel to everything, Aidan gave the town a quick look over, inhaled deeply and made his way into town. He needed food and lots of it, all there was on the Puddle Jumper was potatoes, cheese and water. He was looking to consume large amounts of meat didn't matter what kind, though he didn't have very much beri, so he had to make some beri and quick. Before that though he would need to find out where he would be staying while on Cinna Island. The perfect place caught his eye, a real dump for the poorest of the poor which currently included him, The Bug Bed. Aidan grinned it wasn't much but it was sure to be better than his lousy cot.
Aidan paid for a room and asked the owner if he knew of any odd jobs that he could do around town. Unfortunately there were none he could think of at the time, but he did know a way for Aidan to make some beri. He told Aidan a story. It was a story dealing with a local group of bandits who had been causing a lot of trouble for their town lately. There was a bounty for two hundred beri on their heads, a deviant grin etched its way across his face. He wasn't very good at a lot of things, but of the few things he could do, fighting was at the top of the list.
He didn't spend to much time asking around town about them. The only solid thing he asked was where they were located and how many of them were there, he only received an answer for the first part of the question though, and with that he was off. He headed into the forest area of the island where their base was located. Upon arriving he discovered two guards at the entrance, drunk and sleep. Aidan chuckled a bit they must not have thought that anyone would come to collect on their bounty. They were foolish amateurs walking a dangerous path. He entered and looked around nonchalantly, the bandits clueless of what was going on just stared back with a confused look on his face. They quickly made sense of Aidan's sudden appearance figuring he was the first to attempt at taking them in. They all began to smile deviously and spurt vile comments, while at the same time unsheathing their knives and swords walking towards Aidan slowly. "9, well including the two outside guarding the door" said Aidan as he cracked his knuckles and dashed forward. The commotion from inside woke the two guards, when they entered they found a room full of their companions lying motionless on the ground, while Aidan stood over them all. He turned his head slightly seeing the two that had been sleeping ever so peacefully "you two want in on this" he taunted. They dropped their weapons and made a mad dash into the forest, mentioned something about turning over a new leaf.
Aidan decided it would be best to restrict their movement and so he tied them up, just as he was finishing a loud bang echoed in the place. A shot fired at Aidan nearly piercing him, luckily it only grazed his shoulder. Before the mysterious shooter could get off another shot Aidan turned around stretched out his arm and clutched his face driving his head into the wall knocking him unconscious. Aidan only glanced at the wound it wasn't bad just stung like hell he then looked at the man that gave him said wound. "Damn must've miscounted" he said as he began tying him up. When he made his way back to the town he collected the bounty and immediately began looking for somewhere to eat. There were food places all around him, but he wanted only one thing right now meat!!! He spotted a place he knew wouldn't disappoint "Steak your Claim" a restaurant that served nothing but beef. He ordered 12 dishes and got to work tearing at his food like a an animal. Growing up on Karate Island with a bunch of warriors naturally Aidan had no table manners whatsoever. As he continued gorging himself with food he pondered what the rest of the day might bring. "I'll have another order of the same" said Aidan who had broke his own chain of though when he realized there was nothing left on his plates to eat.
After he finished eating Aidan slid over to the bar he had to get serious about his reason for coming to the south blue, Erin his little brother who was supposed to travel the world with him. Erin had denounced their brotherhood and claimed the only thing that mattered in this world now was money. Aidan couldn't believe it, and he wouldn't not until he heard Erin say those very words himself. He'd only read this in a letter two weeks ago while in Loguetown the place him and Erin were to meet after they're five year training. Things however did not go as planned something happened to Erin, something that changed the kind and caring person he once was into someone who only cares for wealth. The bartender was the that he wanted to talk to if he was gonna find out anything about his little brother's whereabouts. Though he looked like a every day run of the mill type of guy bartenders always knew more about what was going on in their town than anyone else, and so Aidan went for it he asked the man if he had seen anyone strange in town lately but seeing as the island often got a new face every day the man couldn't very well help him. He ended up leaving the bar extending his search all across the island asking anyone if they'd seen someone of Erin's description though he was using his physical features from five years ago he was sure someone would recognize the person he was talking about if they'd seen Erin, but to no avail no one had seen anyone of that description at all realizing this trip had been wasted Aidan headed back to the room he'd checked in and decided that he would set sail the next day. There were more islands than this one in the south blue and he planned to check them all, no matter what he was going to find Erin and sort things out.
