That's easy, DJ. I can tell you what goes into a good technique right now: originality!

Haha, naw that'd be cool. I think an article about creating a good Extraordinary Fighting Style would be dope. Not everybody knows we even have that feature here, and I've heard a few members say they found it difficult to come up with a unique one, so a few tips on that may be really helpful to some.

The November Issue of the Coo is out - if you didn't already know! Go check it out if you haven't read it. I'm posting this here for lil' sis, since she wants to be shy all of a sudden.. =P Her comment on the article I wrote, The Tortoise and the Hare.

This has mostly been a result of having been forced to take unexpected leaves of absence from the site a few times, but the point remains. I prefer having a nice, thought out thread that is kind of relaxing than something where I feel constantly pressured - which, actually, now that I think about it, is kind of the stance I'm taking with my current crew? The original idea was for the crew to have hit the Grand Line by the end of this year, but I've since mellowed out a lot more than I was even before, and I'm not gonna push the lovely people on my crew to post faster than they can - even if it wouldn't be hypocritical of me to ask for that, they are people too, and they're only here because of a love for the setting, a love for their characters, and (I hope) a love for something that we can build together.

I would hate to be the one to kill that love by asking more than they can give me. Honestly, they give me so much more than I could ever ask for with their unique, amazing characters and their personal writing styles... I just... I love all of this so much, and I don't ever want it to be too much pressure for people, y'know? We're here because we love writing and, even if deadlines can be good sometimes, this place is just a hobby. A forum for building ideas and vast, epic stories, but a hobby nonetheless.

So, what I guess I'm saying is, great article! You really put a lot of effort into it, I can tell, and it carries a good message that I feel like a lot of new members don't always think about.
