Jikumo "Red Cap" Okami was relaxing on the beaches of Yeste while his swords were in repair. He was completely starving, but he couldn't get any bounty money to pay for food with his swords damaged beyond use, anyhow. Jiku had his clothing lying on the grass just outside of the beach, nothing important there but his hat, but he wasn't just gonna bring it into the water with him. In the distance, a pack of gigantic whales crashed and thrashed around in the water, creating huge waves that threatened to engulf the entire beach in seawater. Luckily for Jikumo, he knew how to swim, and he was damn good at it, too. He grabbed a chunk of wood he had lazily carved to vaguely resemble a surfboard, and took to the water, facing the massive waves that the whales had created.
After hours of wading close to the shores, the whales returned to the deep sea, and Jikumo returned to the shore, where everything but the treeline was soaking wet. The board which Jiku had broken in half during use was tossed to the side in favor of his clothes, which he began to put on hastily.
"I wonder if the old man is finished with my weapons. I should go check it out."
