Shiomaru gasped quietly, noticeably taking a step back, all while holding Clif. Much to his surprise, he was being completely ignored! If no one would give him an answer, he’d simply use his head. A ship in the middle of nowhere, taking an odd route? A man in a cage? Clearly these were bad guys. The bullet in the Eelman’s shoulder all but confirmed it. It was time for action.
“You’re all dead. No way you’re getting away with this!” An exhausted, raspy voice whispered. Clif had regained consciousness, and lifted a knife towards Shiomaru’s face. However, luck sided with the sharkman. The recently-strangled helmsman was slow, and his hand and knife were perfectly aligned with the shark’s mouth. The fear of being stabbed in the face never entered Shiomaru’s head, so he acted with no hesitation. With just a slight tilt of his neck, the blue shark bit both Clif’s hand and the hilt of the knife--holding both in place with ease. Cliff screamed, weakly trying to shake free. This didn’t distract Shiomaru’s thoughts--a man with a gun was hiding and probably aiming at the only entrance in there. He stared at the deck, wondering how strong it was. Where would the gunner stand? He assumed by the opposite side of this entrance, as far away as possible.
“Get out of my way!” Shiomaru leapt on the edge of the ship, then leapt again many feet into the air. He dove face first into the deck, or would have if he wasn’t holding Clif in front of him. They crashed through wooden panels. Shiomaru guessed right, and now a mass of wood crashed on top of Acke‘s back. A den den mushi was knocked aside, and the area was filling with water. During the impact, Acke’s gun was knocked aside, now just inches out of his reach. Blue Shiomaru picked himself up, leaving a horribly bloodied Cliff aside, and leapt onto a downed Acke.
"Armbar!" Shiomaru yelled with a jubilant smile. He grabbed the bodyguard's arm and twisted it while sitting on his back, preventing any chance of reaching his weapon. Acke, pinned and surrounded by flooding waters, lost what little hope he had. He begged for mercy to anyone above. All the while, Ansom nervously looked on at the destruction.
