The dark sky shadowed over the black ocean as a small boat traveled to the southern most island in South Blue and probably the world. The boat was obviously only the bare minimum and especially something that a marine commodore was not used to riding in. The boat reached its destination about a half hour early due to a strong wind against the tiny sail. For some reason the boat had departed in the middle of the night and the destined meeting time was at 1 a.m.
The captain left the wheel and the boat began to drift on the waves about a mile out from the wintry island. The captain went below deck to the only room besides the captain corridors that this boat held.
“Sir, we have arrived ahead of schedule, what would you like me to do?” the captain of the boat said as he knocked on the door of the commodore’s room.
“Just enter and stop all this sir talk, it just gives me a headache.” Kin Cade said as the man entered the room. He was sitting on the only chair reading a book, which he finished years ago. “You know things are easier if you just never change them,” Kin Cade laughed as he closed the book and stood brushing the wrinkles out of his outfit.
“Sir, I need to know what you would like to do for the half hour until the others arrive.” The captain insisted.
“Alright, alright we will just dock the ship and wait for the others. The ship will be able to leave in plenty of time. Kin Cade looked over to the only package that he was able to bring with him, a single scroll. This scroll was giving to him by Vice-Admiral Phantom, the true ringleader behind this little crew. He knew he was not to open it until all members arrived. “Knowing the boss, this is going to be one crazy week.”
The boat came to rest at the docks as the anchor hit the water. “Everything is ready sir, when the others arrive, I will have them come abroad and meet you in your room.” The captain explained to Kin Cade who was returning to his chair. “Just blow out the candles before you leave, I want to give these guys a real show.” Kin Cade said with a smile and the room became dark. The shadowy figure remained in the dark to meet his new comrades.
