Thor only nodded slowly as he contemplated the possible reaction of the Vice-Admiral. The old man hadn't seemed to be in any hurry to take the commodore away. If he had wished it he could have had the crew rounded up in a matter of hours and all of them would have set sail for Mariejoa before the end of the day. Something else must have been going through the old man's head as he gave him that time to prepare.
"2 days gives you enough time to clear up matters here..." Came the voice of the old man, raspy yet jovial.
The realization that the tall man had as he understood what the old Vice-Admiral had meant stunned him for a few moments. If there had ever been a clearer sign that Thor was free to act as he wanted for the next few days he had never heard one. The old man had been giving him time enough to deal with Udyr. Certainly the island where the traitor was hiding was only a few hours away, and that was by the slow gait of a heavy warship. If they aquired a smaller ship to carry just a strike team they could make it to the island through the shoals in merely an hour or 2 at most.
"I think I know how this can be done, but we shall need to move quickly by tomorrow, I don't think I want to test that 2 day limit that was set for me" Thor said before explaining his realization to Isaac. It made sense to him, though why the old man cared how Thor handled his business he did not know. The tall commodore twitched suddenly, as if he had heard something moving behind him. There was nobody in the room and there was complete calm, save for the breath of the 3 living things. And yet the fiery man couldn't quite shake the feeling that something was a miss, as if something wasn't right in the air. He shook his head before continuing, trying to sum up his plan to his comrade as best he could. It would require all 3 members of the crew to be ready and able by tomorrow morning and whether or not Isaac was up to it, Thor did not say, the young man would have to decide that himself.
"I am going tomorrow morning at 0-800 and I'm taking the few men tough enough to join me. I feel certain that the HQ will not condemn you or any other that might follow me. After all I give the orders, their legitimacy cannot be verified until later" Thor said as he stood up, straightening his jacket and patting his friends big, black, dog in the head. He ordered Isaac to stay as calm as he could whilst he went to arrange for a small vessel that could carry them and decide upon the amount of people and which would join. At this moment it did not appear as if there would be any more soldiers than himself, Isaac and Hanabi. Perhaps he would have Lieutenant Mian join them, the man had been a proven ally in the past and a very confident fighter.
He stood up and walked very slowly towards the door but instead of opening it he leaned on the wall besides it as he took the handle. He gave Isaac a few moments to speak his mind before he opened it up and waited. Hanabi was bringing some food and it shouldn't have taken much longer than their discussion to bring it from the ship.
