'Next... Hey, you!'
'... Huh?'
'Next?'
'Oh, sorry friend..'
This wasn't exactly how he planned to spend his momentary and well earned freedom, the departure from the ever tiresome little girl he had been escorting for months was only the end of the beginning, her arrival only triggered a list of questions into her ability.. Its cause, its reason, purpose? Why was this suddenly his problem, more so was the question: Why did they take his ship and tell him to come here of all places?! He was stranded and alone with a mission that needed more effort that anyone who knew him should know is more than he can possible muster.. And yet he remained. The island wasn't exactly up to scratch either, the mist which seemed to linger like ['floaty-sand' was causing his robotic joints to make all sorts of uncomfortable noises, the heat from the volcanic areas making him seriously question anyone who actually lived here. There was apparently a castle, a paradise for bounty hunters and prize seekers, also torn down by a third party. Seemed like they had another problem right on their doorstep in the form of some no-good man of justice hell-bent on eliminating the hunter presence on the island. Doesn't sound like such a bad thing actually.
'Hey!'
'Woah.. Yea, what?'
'Your name, what is it, for the ninth time?!'
'Oh, uuh.. Lufe, just put down Lufe.'
'Just so we're clear, even though you are helping out, this does not at all affiliate you with or introduce you to the joint operation of bounty hunter groups. We will not supply you or aid you beyond simple command, and upon completion's you'll be paid for your services... Got that?' The large man seemed to grunt out every word rather than actually speak in a casual tone, his giant features to go with his hulking body clearly too large for the chair pleading uncle beneath him with constant creaks with every rustle the occupant made. The caped Cowboy nodded, the slight registering of his speech was good enough for him to approve and skim over the piece of paper that had been spun and pushed towards him on the small table. Leaning down with a hand to his hat, he mumbled the context to himself before reaching out for the writing utensil offered, scribbling a highly intricate signature before pushing it back.
'You know anything about the person we were faci-'
'NEXT!'
'Ow..'
Right in the ear drum like a train-wreck, guess that was that then, the mans spit more than most certainly cued his retreat from the slow yet long developed line, reaching down to the make shift pier which had been created to house all these newcomers for the cause coupled with the arguably famous groups who asked for their assistance. It was interesting seeing some organisation amongst people who by appearance alone could be considered as mindless buffoons looking for some quick change through the sue of their muscles.. But there were those special few, the special sorts nestled in and around the line both from joint-parties for the task and those oddballs with a lot up their sleeves. I guess people were giving him the same look, the cape he wore that covered the majority of his robotic side, his giant hat which covered most of his face. His appearance never really matched her persona, he felt anything but intimidating by comparison to these people lugging along at twice his size. He wasn't here for them though, the man of the hour, or at least presumed man lingered this lands alone and on some sort of twisted vendetta. That masked vigilante of questionable intent was on a 'pull up or push down' process within the revolutionaries. 'Hey.. You 'gonna eat that?' A spear wielding man of some age gestures to the animal walking across his path.
'Uhm.. No?'
Slich!~
'Uuuuegh?!'
What kind of people were these?! This barbarian flat out stabbed a native animal and started taking bites out of it right from the blade. Rauth was never one for emotion, the noise was all that came from him, a little flinch maybe.. lowering the curve on his hat in response to the horrible squelch and crunch which emitted from the man who trudged away, he was pretty sure that one event summed up the ideals of most around this place. Ever more of a reason to sit secluded from the bunch. They at least seemed fairly confident in the number they have coupled to match against a single fighter, was this really the numbers they thought would be required to bring him down? After all the talks he had heard about this person amongst the eastern revolutionary's, he price on his head of an impressive number sure, but Rauth usually saw those were earned without much buck behind it.
'Hey, Cowboy, you're in my spot.'
He never asked how much money they were offering to split either.
'Hey! I'm talking to you Spurs!'
And what was their plan? Just rush the guy and chase him around the island?'I said MOVE!'
CLANK!
An eyebrow raised along with his hat, tipping it upwards further with his metallic finger as the hunter turned hunted twinged at what he thought was flesh, only to not even nudge the Cyborg and only cause a horribly crunch across his knuckles. 'I thought we were here for the same guy, man..' With his robotic arm he swished the cap out of its path, clutching the muscular tricep while using his human hand to reach for his own personal sin. 'No worries though, my legs were falling asleep anyway..' He stood, turned, and forced the man onto the seat grooved rocks he was on previously, releasing his grip to reveal indents of where he had applied pressure.. The man causing all the ruckus leaving it at that apparently, too many witnesses to his ego rapidly deflating. One person after another, he never considered himself a snob, nor did he see any of them as lesser fighters. It was this presence, the over watch of higher up's and mumbles amongst the arriving groups.
This wasn't going to go well at all.
