Asta had quite the story to tell to Devlin, she had been through so much. She was someone Devlin deep down had to admire. She however wanted to hear his story. This was something he was a little bit too cautious about. He had his dark brooding past and all, and wasn't really willing to share it. He had to tell her something though. "I'll just give you the quick version. I was abandoned at a young aged, worked in the circus, escaped and made it here, then i was trained to be a chef by the greatest chef to ever live." Devlin was still quite anti-social, he was talking with Asta so much because it was polite, but otherwise he would be quiet as a mouse. Devlin excused himself from the conversation and went into the bathroom. He was tense, having to remember what he's gone through. He splashed water on his face and went back outside. He was a bit more calmed down now. The stress often got to him whenever he was reminded of his past. He returned to the bar. Asta was still here. Devlin would be sad when she would leave, this little scamp was breath of fresh air to him after a long life of pain. Devlin poured himself another shot and downed it. Alcohol wasn't something Devlin often drank, he was probably having more than he ever has had in his life at this moment. Devlin stood at the bar with a distraught look, he was aching for something to take his mind off of his past. Perhaps a fight, or cooking something.
Devlin stepped outside once more. He noticed something so blatantly obvious out on the street. Two large men were walking towards the restaurant. They were massive, and appeared to be armed. They were funny looking too, big fella's to say the least. One of them didn't even look human. Devlin stood back as they entered the restaurant. This place serves everyone. Devlin walked in with them. They had an odd glow about them, Devlin approached Asta and sat down next to her. "Who the hell are these guys?"
