The Grand Line, a mile-stone of piracy, and the path to the fabled New World. A place of many faces and all walks of life, resting between the two calm belts of the world lies littered islands in as many mystery's as shapes and sizes. Stories of pirate legend and rising rookies start here, and for most, ends on this very same sea. As is tradition for the Lawless, one of the only ways for Pirates from the blues to approach the Grand-Line is via reverse mountain, a punishing up-mountain stream prepared to naturally root the good from the great.. A challenge the Hard-Hat's have tackled, maybe not with such grace and ease as others, but tackled none the less.
Upon their victory, with wounds from previous battles and a small battle with the mountain itself behind them, all took to sleep and rest, to prepare themselves for the long and wondrous route that lay ahead of them. In light of their decision for some much needed R 'n R, Eimi, Torin's sister, was left to watch over the ship until everyone was prepared.. Sadly having ideas of her own out of impatience. And so the Hard-Hat's adventure begins, though not in the place they first expected.

'Oi.. Torin.'
Her foot tapped, hands on her waist with furrowed brows.
'I didn't realise I'd given myself a time-limit, Sis.'
His hand waved up randomly, as if attempting to swat her away.
'We're here.'
'W-We weren't even going anywhere.'
She didn't respond, leaving the messy haired ball atop a skinny body to turn in curiosity, revealing his face and half open eye as his eyebrows moved in the opposite direction to hers. She looked up and out of the large hole that still blessed the ship, slightly boarded up in a quick attempt to avoid any major weather disturbances from getting inside, then back towards the man who had collapsed in his work. 'Look, I got bored..' He sat up, blinking a few times before resorting to rubbing his eyes to wake up, getting the feeling this was more serious than his sister was implying. 'What do you mean you got bored, what happened? Is it the weather or something?' She shrugged, an answer which was in fact not an answer at all. 'Fox could deal with that, you ask him?' She shook her head, placing her hand beside her temple as if struggling to be precise in her explanation. 'I moved the ship myself, to a different location.' as was Vent tradition, her hands explained the whole thing, picking up an invisible object and moving it slightly to the other side of her arms reach. '... What.' He sighed, getting bored of Eimi's charades and shakily picking himself up from the ground, wincing slightly as the large cut which went from one side of his nose to the next stung a week old pain. 'Still not over that, huh?' He funnelled air from his narrow mouth out onto his hair, brushing it aside as he tied a bandanna to his forehead.'Don't change the subject, what're you talking about?'
'Just.. Ugh, come see, its easier that way.'
'Fine, fine..'Four days have passed since they first arrived on the grand sea, a majority of this time spent savouring an odd feeling not often felt between this specific crew. Peace and quiet. The waves provided no pull, the weather impeccable to the degree that it was no longer a concern, with what travels and troubles awaited them beyond, a few days of recuperation were well deserved. On this day, in the slumber and silence of the slowly repairing Jolly Jericho, a certain pirate not of this crew grew impatient.. And in turn took action.'Ooh, I see now.'
'Yea, see? I moved the ship, I have places to be.'
'That's fair, you've always kept yourself busy and what not..'
'... What is wrong with you?!' With a few yells and screams, a tackle and some barrel rolls, the two were trying to get in as many punches and kicks as possible as they moved back and forth on the deck. 'Ah, I give I give!' Torin had been reduced to a head-locked mess as he tapped in submission, the two quickly standing back up in both victory and defeat, poses and prodding of painful wounds ensued regardless of who was around to witness their little sibling spat. 'Not gunna wear the helmet?' His licking of wounds caught him off guard, looking to Eimi with a bit of suprise before quickly shaking his head. 'It hit the bridge of my nose the other day, didn't stop bleeding for hours..' His face slowly went from concerned to concrete, the sister's hand brought to her mouth to contain her laughter. 'Only you would have something that dumb happen to you.' He lip synced her response with a stupid face attached, letting out a sigh as the reality of their situation came back to light. 'Do you even know where you've brought us? How did you even move this without any of us noticing?' Another shrug, this time maybe a bit more needed, no logical cause would match up this travel and her doing it alone.
'I remembered the place I need to be being generally this way.' A series of half-baked words began to slowly flow out of the Hard-Hats mouth, making his way up to the front of the ship to get a better look at what was before them. 'And this is where you wanted to be..?' She followed close behind, a small push and shove from the previous fight not exactly ending before this time Torin being victorious, and taking the lead on climbing up the large Turtles head. 'Its close though, I'm sure I remember this island.' Torin would have argued, Eimi never being one of clear memory, though the island itself was rather striking in appearance. 'Ooh.. I didn't think the island would look like this, this routes qui-.. Wait.' He rummaged into his pocket, bringing the book to his view rather than adjusting it, flicking through the pages of the small hard-back only to lower it slowly, looking back and forth between it and the view. 'This isn't even the right route, is it.'
'Nope!~'
'Freaking.. Why are doing this to me?!'
'Haha, you look so stupid when you're angry at things.'
'Don't get so worked up..' She wandered off, Torin's eyes tracking her as she plucked Torin's helmet from the top of a large re-collected pile of valuables, previously thrown about the deck. 'You can get a pose from here specifically for the route, and before you know it, you're back on track.' She angled her head, a look on her face automatically making him do the same as she placed the band around his neck, accompanied by a quite interesting wrapped lace of sorts attached to it. 'There, I fixed it, you could at least have it on you now..' The strap had broken during the ordeal, leaving it to just fall off him at random intervals without noticing, a problem no longer with a Sisterly flair. 'You know most girls would put girly stuff on this, what are these, moulded skulls?' She nodded, giving them a tap, they dangled from the thick new strip which ran across his neck, allowing his helmet to actually stay agaisnt his back. 'This ones from my first crew, the second and third, this..' She prodded the more unique looking trinket, a circle with a quite menacing smiley face. 'This, you'll find out for yourself.'
'Since when were you mysterious, just tell me..' She sighed, a giggle escaping her as she adjusted his bandanna, smudging his cheek as he flailed in defence. 'Whats with you, stop being an actual sister!' Her relaxed face was something Torin hadn't often seen or remembered, like she felt at home around these parts. 'And this...' She delved into her pockets, taking out a small piece of paper. 'This is you..' He recoiled, the slightly torn square had his name upon it, though nothing of any real value. 'Are you just gunna keep giving me dumb stuff, are you dying or something?' He got a sharp punch in the chest for that, hissing and scrunching his face in reaction. 'This is how I found you, and this is how Mom and Dad knew where to find you before now.' Torin escaped, leaping back with a pose of idiocy before slowly walking back to the paper that seemed to follow his movements. 'I'll give it to them when I see them, they wanted to meet you once you got here.' He let out a sharp tick of aggravation, as he suspected, so did they. 'So you're leaving, that's what this is all about.' He let out another sigh, looking off into the distance with a calculating intent as he studied the island. 'You could have just left this stuff, not like you usually hang around.' He tilted his head back, the woman looking at him with that same confused face. 'I'll be fine, I got them to watch my back.''Yea-yea..'
With a little sniff and throat adjusting included.'Try and give me some notice before dropping in next time, eh?'
He gave a cocky grin, throwing over her bag.'Psh, goes to show how horrible a pirate you are.'
Hauling it over her shoulder, she looked down to the sea below.
'What did yo-?!' He turned to protest, the figure which lingered behind him had vanished before he even noticed, the sudden chopping of water below as the tanned figure's boomerangs spun like propellers, pushing forward one of the Jericho's small row boats. 'She didn't even ask for that..' With the whole family problems done and dusted, he left his problems or future thoughts aside, his sister landing them in a place way beyond his comprehension without even a shred of guidance to aid them.. This was going to be great. The sun had just began to spread some light around the area, the new day starting with this giving him a lot more to think about than he previously imagined. 'Hey, guys?! So uh..!' He made his way back down to the Deck, grabbing himself his morning pineapple and juice from his supply beside the stairs, taking a large bite out of its insides before letting out a monotone flat note of thought.
'We're here! I guess..?'
