Blue eyes met brown eyes as the human and the monkey stared at each other in an intense moment of silence, as if they had both stunned each other. Kurosaki happened to note that the little guy was clutching a brilliantly colored gem. It was also humongous! Then suddenly, that moment of silence was broken at the loud sound of stone breaking and falling down. Suddenly the monkey took off like a shot and Kurosaki turned at the same instant, surprised at the entire doorway arch having exploded.
A man stumbled through the rubble. Kurosaki's own shocked face looked at his which had a mixture of strong emotion; mostly shock and pain. Suddenly the man, who was absolutely huge compared to the small blond haired explorer, tumbled over forward and hit the stone floor amongst the rubble.
Kurosaki jumped up and rushed over to the guy, hoping that he was alright but fearing the worst. What had caused this giant man to slam straight into that doorway arch in the first place? He quickly looked up and scanned the area past the rubble to make sure that a serious enemy wasn't somewhere back there.
Well, that wasn't it.
So what had caused this? With the man having hit the stone with such a huge amount of force he figured that there was bound to be some injuries so at first he didn't try to attempt to move the man. Hopefully he would still be conscious. Moving such a massive man also to check if he was breathing would be a hugely difficult task. Despite Kurosaki not exactly being an underweight, he still doubted his ability to flip a muscular giant like this guy.
"Hey! Hey, are you alright? Mister, hey? Can you hear me? What happened?"
Wait a minute. Wasn't this whole place supposed to be safe? Yet here he was having almost been thrown down a chute into a wall full of spikes and here was this guy who had just crashed through a bunch of stone? Had something happened to cause this to happen to him?
Turning around, Kurosaki's eyebrows furrowed together before he ditched the guy momentarily, though he felt bad about it for an instant, to check on that wall that he had almost been flung into. The spikes were gone, replaced with a solid and smooth wall.
Dang. There was no way to check if they had been real or not...
His suspicions began to flare but he had no time to consider it further for now without evidence. Also, he had to make sure that the giant was alright. He rushed back to the guy as quickly as he could without tripping on the stone chunks left all over the place in time to hear the man say one word.
Ow.
Well, at least he was alive.
"Can you get up alright?" he questioned the man, hoping that he hadn't broken anything. Though there was no intense screaming that one would expect from a man who had just broken a bone. There was hope!
