Ayasa's luck had taken a turn for the worst that day, despite being alive, which was probably insanely good luck on her part. But Still. That morning she'd boared a ship for transport, in the company of several other people, mixed into the large crowd also seeking passage. The kind of ship that looked good on the outside, shiny and new, but on the inside looked like the backside of a goat. Maybe a bear with poor hygine standards. Regardless at the time, everything seemed quiet. After coming up onto the deck to enjoy some sunshine, letting the sea air and the clear skies wash over her gently, things seemed to be perfect. She laid back on a chair behind some crates and relaxed, reclining down it slowly, stretching her legs with a happy sigh. Looking up at the clouds her mind began to wonder as it sometimes did. She could picture herself on the deck in her swimwear, sipping on an ice cold beverage slowly, looking to her side to see her beloved approach from afar. The large scar down his chest a living tribute to the hardships she'd come to love about him. Smiling evily as he walked over, reaching out towards her so slowly, inches from her che...
Her eyes opened suddenly, looking up at the sky with the noise of the ocean ringing in her ears and the loud earsplitting sqwaking of a seagull sitting just next to her feet. With a somewhat depressed look on her face, she sat upright and looked at the bird, remembering where she was. Laying on a wooden plank three times her size, floating in the middle of the ocean at the mercy of the currents and any large marine dwelling creatures hungry enough to try their luck. Looking around she pulled her legs closer against herself, arms around them holding them tighter. Prehaps daydreaming about Romantic intaglments with her Beloved Zoro in this situation was not the best course of action. The waves around her were making her a little nervous. True she could swim, but who knew what kind of nasty creatures were lurking in the depths below. Out of curiosity she peeked over the edge of the "Raft" slowly, carefully as not to capsize it or anything. In the shimmering reflection of the waters she could make out, herself, Wriggling. Wriggling?, with that thought she looked down, face freezing in shock and disgust as a small Squid like creature slithered its way across her chest at its own pace. In a flash she began to tug at the creature frantically, not noticing the ship now floating along side her little plank, until it stuck the hull, flinging the creature off of her sharpish. Turning around she smiled, scrambling up the side as quick as her light legs would carry her.
Appearing over the side of the ship, she rolled onto the deck, breathing heavily, sucker marks still plastered over the skin between her chest and chin, along the shoulders too. So wiped out was she that for a moment, she didn't notice the people around her, until they eventually spoke up. A little worried all she could do was Wave, lazily, hoping she wouldn't get killed at the least.
