David showed his astonishment after witnessing the message Cylantrolle in the sky, as his breath was now visible under the cold, morning air. "Man, this is what those people call magnets? I don't think I'll ever understand how it works. But who is Cylantrolle?" The magnet called David's attention once more, but this time the magnet itself was not just glowing, but revealing it's own message.
It was a poem, and undoubtable a well-written one. But as David tried to find meaning in the poem, he couldn't help but notice the lines at the beginning and end. "Catastrophes that end in grief huh? Well I'm hoping it's talking about what just happened earlier and not something else to watch out for." David's feelings were strong;he valued friendship more than his musical talents or his desire for food. I can't....no, we can't lose anyone else. We've got to keep going just like the poem said.
Leave this world, and its things that bind
"Things that bind" immediately reminded David of his chains. Chains that supported his weapon that helped him support his friends. But a weapon that was needed to stop him when he felt a murderous intent for the first time. So far analyzing this poem wasn't really helping him and the Hoshi Pirates reach their goal yet, but it definitely gave him something to look forward to.
Kane's head turned suddenly, attracting David's attention as they both witnessed what appeared to be a lonely boat. In it was a girl with brown hair, and definitely fear in her eyes, probably a common reaction to a pirate ship within meters of your row boat. Kane, being the amicable captain, motioned to calm her down, introducing himself, sharing their problem, and even offering her a ride.
Meanwhile, an island as white as snow came into view, along with a set of cannons that figured it was their turn to drop the welcome wagon. The sound cannon fire was audible, but faint enough for someone to almost disregard. Well, at least David, whose observation skills were not his forte, especially when he was focused on meeting someone knew. In suspicion, David turned around, but too late to act upon the cannonball within seconds of impact. Rapidly racing across as it reached its target and....
A large, potentially hazardous cannonball waved past them, thankfully doing the most damage in its suspense. Getting over his near-death experience, David heard Shisha, already in armor, calling out to them to let them know they were being shot at. "Yeah, I figured as much when a giant cannon ball almost hit me!" Kane retorted, though David and Kane both failed to sense the cannonball that someone upstairs must have protected them from. They were not so lucky with the next, except that Kane instantly dived toward it in opposition, though it was questionable if that was lucky. “Solar Flare Kick!” The explosive attack thankfully only bounced the cannonball into the ocean, while Shisha was also backing up the group. "I hope this tub has some weapons to shoot back with My Cannon aint quite finished yet!"
”Wait, YOUR cannon?” David questioned, before noticing a cannonball heading his way. “I’m no stranger to this kind of problem!” David exclaimed, reaching for his weapon and releasing its chain forward. “Cannonball Return!“ The chain wrapped around the cannonball several times, allowing him to swing it back into the direction where it came from. Relieved with his success, he followed the cannonball’s path ito the ocean, before an island white as snow met his eyes. Finally noticing the island, David noticed saw three cannonballs about to make contact with the island. When they struck the mainland, the impact was inaudible, but a dramatically dark aura appeared to form. Assuming it was an unusual smoke from the explosion, David was naturally shocked when he witnessed the power of that “smoke”. It seemed to absorb light, and the building were crumbling as if they were drawn to it. The thing that wasn’t sucked in was the screams of the residents.
It was then that a woman dressed in a pure white robe was just close enough to be visible to them, standing on top of a building with a den-den mushi. She spoke in a voice comparable to an angel, worthy of trust and admiration, as she insisted that the Cylan family would protect them “again”. Wondering what happened to this island before, David watched as she stepped down and made a less innocent-sounding declaration. ”Death to the Pirates!” to which people responded with an applause. Just as luck would have it, the ocean seemed to implode as a sea cow emerged from its surface. David had not seen a lot of sea monsters in his days as a wanderer, and almost lost his balance in shock.
Kane rushed to the scene, with David once again just a spectator amidst all of these astonishing events. Kane delivered a “Shooting Star Spinnu!” a beautiful dive that made its mark on the sea cow’s gut. Impressively, the sea cow was knocked into the ocean, with its collosal body pushing the ship with its waves alone. As Kane fell, fortunately on the deck, the beast emeged once more, not surprising considering its size. But a door opened from the beast’s skin, and out came a woman. With his full attention on the opening doo on the sea cow, David nearly lost his balance when he saw how big her breasts were. "Well, well, well. We got us the ticket to our escape," She spoke with a seductive voice, and her body appeared to be shifting towards Kane. “Well, what I mean by "our ticket" is that you guys are our tickets for escape. Well, if the captain agrees of course," David wasn’t sure what to think of this woman and whoever “we” was, but figured it was safe to guess that they were on the run. Without warning she stepped onto their deck, reaching out her hand to Kane, her chest noticeably shifting as she moved as if intentionally. He didn’t want to stare, but he couldn’t look away either if she was an enemy.
”Hello, my name is Margarita.” She seemed very surprised by how young the Hoshi pirates were, and even asked Kane who the captain was. However, Shisha, cold-blooded as ever, appeared behind her like it was nothing, holding her gun at Margarita’s back and reminding her whose ship she was on. ”Shisha what the heck!” David wasn’t one to decline fighting, but there was simply no reason to start something right after they escaped the cannon fire. Margarita’s friends soon emerged, but seemed more protective than provoked. Margarita on the other hand, rose her hand against Kane with a gun, reacting calmly to her situation and asking the others to be calm as well. With both on the other side of a firearm, Kane commanded Shisha to lower her gun, which relieved David. ”We really don’t have time for this. Why don’t we get straight to business Margarta?”
