“Your brother can’t help you now, little girl,” came a voice from behind Rebecca. A tall pale man with sunken eyes stepped out from behind her, moving over to the bars and passing through them as if they were mere illusion. He scratched the back of his head and sighed.
“What a pain...why did you and your brother and sister come here anyway? Tch...now we have to dispose of you all.”
Craning his neck around to look up at the ceiling, Barsol cracked his neck and glanced back at the little girl. Couldn’t leave her unguarded. What a pain.
“Hey! Get in here and do your job!”
A sudden crash from further down the hall echoed loudly. Barsol winced and stuck a finger in his ear. A zombie in a uniform with chains around its wrists and ankles jogged into view and hastily saluted Barsol.
“Sir!”
Barsol shook his head, popping more of his joints with each movement. He stepped over to the wall and stared at it, debating whether or not to go help Narmer. He could probably handle it, right? Wasn’t worth it to climb all the way back upstairs, right? Then again...he’d get an earful if Narmer had needed him for something.
“Hrgh...what a pain...what do I do…?”

For some reason, the boy that Wolfric was struggling to free as a bouncing sword wasn’t moving. And the bandages kept reattaching and sticking! What gave?! She glared at the mummy weirdo as he explained. Fine! If cutting didn’t work, she could use something else.
Before Wolfric could think of what that something else might be, the boy was gone. He stood in front of the weirdo and started beating the crap out of him! Nice. As she watched him fly up into the air, she wondered if beating him with his own sarcophagus would work.
Movement out of the corner of her eye drew her attention back to the Koala weirdo making a break for it. Firing out of her sword at incredible speed, she slid grabbing the sword she’d left behind earlier and stopped behind the koala, grabbing him by the scruff of his neck and lifting him up off the floor.
“Where do ya think you’re going, huh?
Wolfric jerked her thumb at the fuming Pluto as he posed his question to the mummy. She grinned mischievously at him.
“You heard him. Where is she?”
Wolfric figured she owed it to the guy to help him out on finding his sister. She had been kinda distracting him when she was taken away. Damn that guy. It wasn’t cool stealing kids! Wolfric shook and rattled the koala to get a better answer out of him.
“Don’t got all day!”
