Having eyes on his target, Memphis stopped actively using his Observational Haki in order to conserve his mental stamina. After all, Haki is a difficult skill to maintain over long battles. Anyway, Memphis was confused by what the assassin meant by "partial bluff." Most of Memphis's beliefs were black and white, so either you bluff or you don't. The assassin had clearly bluffed about the bomb according to what he was saying, no partial bluffing about it. The assassin was lying about there being a bomb, using said lie as a bluff. Unfortunately, with all the confused thinking going through Memphis' head, he was unable to respond to the explosive arrow thrown by the assassin, who was acting more and more like a saboteur.
Thankfully, Memphis couldn't see any injured Marines near the site of the sizeable explosion. Unfortunately, the assassin's actions didn't stop short, instead taking a detour towards Ship 2's newly formed hole. The question the assassin left behind bothered Memphis to no end as the only logical response was yes.
Being a master of Rokushiki, Memphis wouldn't have a tough time following the black winged assassin towards and into Ship 2. He wasted no time to step through the air as quickly as he could in order to stop the dastardly deeds of the cheeky assassin. The strange questions were probably a distraction to meddle with the logic minded Vice Admiral in an attempt to get a head start. Memphis kept his stern expression, thinking about how he'd kick the ass of such an annoying individual.
Meanwhile on Ship 3, Taavi continued to help repair the broken main mast. In order to put it back into place, the bottom part would also have to be sawed back into a flat, horizontal surface. Trying to connect together two slanted pieces of behemoth sized wood was just not smart. With the two pieces of the mast being so large, the shipwrights and other helpful Marines would have to take their time to saw through the wood in order to flatten the angle at which it was cut.
Being the director of the repairing operation of Ship 3, Taavi had the luxury of taking quick peeks as the other ships and their repairs. However, Taavi also snuck a peek over at Ship 4 to see if they had to repair anything of importance. No repairing necessary from what Taavi could see, but the officer of the ship looked to be staring down a darkly clothed individual that was either real or a trick of the imagination. Night was creeping in and visibility between ships was getting poor. He couldn't tell if the dark figure was actually there or not. However, a distracting explosion occurred on the right flank of Ship 2. Shortly thereafter, a blur entered the explosion's aftermath. Looking back at Ship 4's officer, Taavi was finally able to catch a glimpse of the legendary Rokushiki fighting style used by a majority of the upper echelon to some capacity. Taavi was awe inspired by the mystical powers displayed by the officer as he stepped on the air in order to make his way to the site of the explosion, for some reason.
Anyway, Taavi had to pay attention to the repairs if he wanted Ship 3 to be sea worthy again, so he cut his eyes short and viewed the Marines of Ship 3 being hard at work.
