Ffffffffffffffffffffffffff
The moments of full control over her new crew had lasted a minute or two at best. Already, the moronic sides of the Gehena's thugs was showing again. As well as the dangerous demon, who was supposed to stay put! Not to mention the very untimely speaking up of the winged man, who called the masked lady by a name that would probably have cost him his head without the captain's intervention.
Despite her optimism going down the drain, Kulira managed to keep a stoic look. The groper situation already took care of itself - and even conveniently punished Vox in advance for his wrong assumptions.
"Silence!" Taking a step forward between Cheska and the rest of the crew, the cloaked captain blew out some smoke from under her hood. "Cheska is a free woman, treat her with respect. We have welcomed her as our guest. See her as an extension of myself, do everything she asks. Do not disappoint her. You have only witnessed the start of what happens to those that do. You" She pointed at a random thug in the crowd "will carry this man into a cell. I will deal with him later."
Hastily, the appointed scurried towards his toothless crewmate on the floor and dragged him away. Awkwardly making sure he didn't so much as look at any of the women. Chete waited until he was gone before stepping forward, inches away from Vox' face.
"You need to understand something. You are the only slave on this ship right now. The others are pirates, the most free one can be. Still everyone is a speck of dirt compared to me. Think about what that makes you. Make no mistake" she added, her eyes piercing the rest of the mooks "he's allowed to defend himself. And you might not want to be on his bad side when I order him to take care of you."
Silent nodding all around.
Hopefully, this demonstration was enough to calm the mask down. Taking a sharp breath, Cheteria turned around. In a much more quiet voice, she inquired:
"As you can see they do as told. I just hadn't told them yet. Now please, if you could let Cheska out again. She must be hungry, she can follow - what's your name?"
"T-tommy, my Captain." stammered the man returning this very moment from the prison area where he had left his comrade.
"She can follow Tommy to the kitchen. Try not to kill him if he messes up, bring him to me if you are not pleased."
Turning to Vox once again, she proclaimed: "Now, your presentation!"
The entire act was quite fun to watch. Well, not fun, few things were actually fun these days. But reassuring for sure. Many of these weapons at the man's disposal were as out there as her own. He would indeed be a glorious weapon. Although at the same time, it proofed to her that earlier assumptions weren't wrong. Had Vox been an enemy, they would have had a problem at their hands. Yet, he was not.
Especially the net interested her. It would come in handy in case they did not want to damage any future goods. The only thing that confused her was his term for the knife - never before had she heard the word 'stiletto' before. She did not want to ask however, having something this basic explained to her would have seemed very ungodly.
"You did good. Keep your weapons. All I ask in addition is calling me your Captain." Were here only words in the end of it all. Her servant's suspense went unnoticed, the cyborg didn't really have an eye for subtle hints. Without so much as looking down at any of the fallen, Chete moved to the exit on the other side of the room. "Come with me up on deck. I wish to show you to everyone who has not met you yet. Then I want to know more about where you came from."
