By the time Hanabi had finished her food and introduction, Andro had trotted over to the two, sitting by Rae's feet and looking at the woman with curious but alert eyes. Despite having been on the menu, the fox showed no fear but the awareness that there was a stranger near his master and one that could be dangerous. The small fox was soon cooing as Rae reached over picking up the tike. Rae had listened as carefully as she could. Petty officer, Hanabi, Moon Island, Rougetown, SHIELD... ah, she said so much that the blue haired girl could barely remember. Instead, the purple gems watched the woman stand up, offering to fight again.
The young marine didn't know what she meant by throw punches or full contact, and the confusion was evident. Yet before she could ask, Dante decided to step in. The teen looked over, watching him before going to Hanabi. The woman seemed pretty laid back, yet this woman seemed to have a split personality. One minute she was happy and carefree, yet the next she seemed to turn into a savage animal when ready to fight.
Her ears picked up when the older officer gave her praise. It took her back, hearing the words 'good job' and her name in the same sentence. Usually it was 'look at the mess' or 'what a horrible job' or some other type of scolding. She didn't even try to hide the smile, feeling a bit of pride. She had done something right , first time in a long while then. She had actually done something her brother would have probably been proud of her. It gave her some hope. It wasn't long before her mind started to wander again, seeming to ignore the spiel Dante was going on in introductions and all. Rae wasn't too interested, now that she knew her fox wasn't in any danger the blue haired teen was content with this stowaway.
Even if judging her by the looks, this Hanabi character seemed to be an all right person. It had taken Rae back when she had been declared this woman's new best friend, but it almost brought another smile to her face. With Ayumi and even Yuri, that meant she had three friends. Well, counting Dante that took the count to four. It made the trouble maker happy, having friends and all.
"That was pretty stupid." Yuri's voice reached Rae's ear, quiet as so not to interrupt the two marines. "What if she had killed you instead of eating? What if she was suppose to be after any of us? I told you it wasn't a ghost." Although she was scolding her, there was a small, tiny hint that Yuri might have been concerned. However, any hint of concern was soon washed away. "Honestly Rae, are you just stupid or a complete idiot?"
Rae looked to the woman, before shaking her head, "Aren't they the same thing?" She pointed out, before looking to the woman, her voice still directed to Yuri, "She wasn't going to hit me. She's a fighter, but she seems to be the kind that's prideful and honorable. She's actually a person that would be great to fight against..." She managed to say, petting her fox as Andro rubbed his head in her hand, purring a bit.
"How did you know that." Yuri asked, arms crossed as her eyes now bore to the dark haired woman. Rae was right, this woman was a fighter. She could be a threat if she wanted too, but even with her being a marine, she was in a unit that she hadn't heard too much about. Perhaps it was just Yuri's nature, but she didn't really get the vibe that trusting her right away would be a wise thing. Rae might, and maybe Ayumi, but if Yuri had a handle on Dante's personality then he would probably be the smart one to not trust this woman. Yet Rae's voice broke her concentration with one line.
"I don't know. I just did." The teen spoke. It wasn't logical, but Rae's instincts had kicked in and she picked up on it. The one thing she always listened to besides her brother. She looked to Yuri, seeing the woman was staring at Hanabi. It caused her to exhale, before watching the two. Hopefully Hanabi could sail with them for a while, after all Rae was curious to learn more about her.
