With her little sob story all out in the open and more or less simmering in the minds of her fellow pirates, Imuka felt as though a great weight had been lifted off of her chest. Those days past spent quiet around her crew would possibly see an end. Whether or not that would positively affect the others remained to be seen. With the end of her story, Imuka breathed a soft sigh of relief, only to be interrupted by a bodiless voice that appeared from out of nowhere, breaking the calm of the little situation they were in.
The voice was rather shrill, almost sounding like the person it belonged to was about to cry. Imuka looked around to find that a very blonde girl had snuck on board the Jolly Jericho and stowed away before they had made their escape from Loguetown. Apparently her bar had been demolished, and her little tirade about how important it was to her and the sheer number of words used to describe its destruction only brought her voice to all new highs. Obviously she was angry. Then she mentioned that a man had been broken through a whole lot of walls, including the ones to her bar. Imuka's expression changed from a serious one to a rather ponderous one as she placed a finger on her chin and looked up, trying to remember. As it turned out, the girl's anger was directed towards her. Imuka vaguely recalled German suplexing Brick through a bunch of walls. While her original aim was to throw him over back and drive him into the ground, she had somehow botched it and let go too early, throwing the massive lummox through the walls instead.
The gunner overheard Torin say something about the cause of the destruction being her. Even worse was the fact he patted her on the leg, which was the worst possible thing he could have done then and there. Imuka sort of tensed up as she blushed slightly, then drew her right arm back and clenched her hand. The girl then thrust her fist right into the back of Torin's head. Given the overall strength of her despite her injuries, said impact was more than likely to leave a comically huge bump sprouting from the back of his head. "Don't...touch me...idiot." she hissed, biting back the pain from the sniper wound. It had died down by the time Eimi and Torin had their little verbal fight which resulted in more of their story being told, as well as Torin's "ex-girlfriend."
Though as quickly as that had gotten out of the way, Torin invited the strange blonde girl to join their crew as the cook. Taro had gone off and introduced himself, albeit with a whole lot of liberty taken into embellish his false statements in being the self-proclaimed brains behind the whole thing. Imuka scoffed and rolled her eyes at him. Had he been close enough, she would have slugged him for blatantly lying to the girl. And after that came Darius, who seemingly tried to correct all of the inaccuracies brought on through Taro, but made the mistake of proclaiming himself being the look of the Hard-Hats' fire and brimstone image.
Of course now it was her turn to introduce herself to the girl, "Imuka...I'm the gunner of the crew and the one making bigger explosions than Darius over here. Sorry for...wrecking your bar..." she said sheepishly, her last few words mumbled with some embarrassment. It wasn't like she had intentionally chosen Bessie's bar to toss Brick through, it just happened to be in the way of the flying Brick. Quickly trying to get out of the little awkward situation she found herself in, Imuka quickly wrested the newspaper from Robin's grasp and tried to take her mind off of inadvertently destroying Bessie's bar by reading the article about themselves, though given the fact that Bessie was RIGHT NEXT TO HER, it was rather difficult to avoid it.
The Hard-Hats' reputation had already preceded themselves. The destruction of a few locations was pinned on them, and their recent romp through Loguetown only served to embellish just how dangerous they really were. It was no surprise to Imuka that they were that well-known by now, especially with a rather infamous ex-Marine in the Blues now in their crew. Things would only get more difficult once they crossed into the Grand Line, but they at least had her with them now. That made just one more person who knew the workings of the Marines. It was the picture that had drawn her attention the most out of the anything. She never recalled posing for a group picture. Then again, there wasn't much prior to her fight with Brick that she could recall right off the top of her head. Speaking of her fight with Brick, Imuka wondered if Torin took the gauntlet he had used against her off of her when she had been dragged back onto the ship before the escape. She snickered quietly to herself when she saw the "lameo" sign above Taro before putting the newspaper down. "Uh...Torin. Do you recall taking a gauntlet off of me when I was dragged back onto the ship? Brick was using it." she asked. She figured he would probably find better use for it than she or possibly anyone else in the crew would have. Perhaps he could even take it apart and make something new from it.
